Product Description
- Includes Wii MotionPlus Accessory
Forget everything you know of the original Red Steel and prepare for the most innovative first person shooter ever on the Wii. Although this long-awaited sequel features the same mix of gunplay and sword-fighting the art style and story are completely different. Known only as The Swordsman, you enter the fictional city of Caldera looking for revenge in a unique mix of Wild West atmosphere, samurai action and modern day technology. The first shoot 'em-up to use the Wii MotionPlus accessory, the game gives you unprecedented control of your weapons and movement at all times. The ultra accurate controls allow you to deflect bullets with you sword and perform all sorts of moves from simple slashes and thrusts to a 360 degree spinning counter attack. Unlike the first game you can switch between guns and sword whenever you want, giving you total control at all times and creating one of the Wii's most cutting edge new action games. Key Features - All change: Clint Eastwood meets Kill Bill in an audacious reimagining of the original first person shooter as a post-apocalyptic Wild West revenge story.
- Weapon of choice: Take down bad guys however you want, as you switch between using a samurai sword and a range of pistols, shotguns and other weapons.
- Precision blade: As the first action game to use the Wii MotionPlus accessory enjoy a level of control and accuracy impossible on any other system.
- Novel graphics: Impressive new cel-shaded graphics may look like a comic book but the violence and danger is as real as ever.
- User settings: Fully customisable controls allow you to change every element, from the button assignments to the exact sensitivity of the Wii remote.

Red Steel 2 Quick review April 3, 2010 J. T. Passmore (United Kingdom) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Red Steel 2 is an engrossing fun and stylistic game, One of its best features happens to be its controls which feel fluid and almost second nature as you progress through the game buying and earning new moves an finishers. You really start to feel like a Ninja like swordsman as you block, counter and dodge with ease against your enemies. Although the game is an FPS youll be mostly using your Katana during confrontations but you can and will use your guns sometimes. There is a challenge mode where you try to get a good score and grade to achieve a medal .Im looking forward to playing it again very soon.
Lets hope there will be more great games that make good use of wii motion plus.
Game 9/10
No multiplayer by the way......Aslo Keep an eye out for the hidden Sheriff Stars (appear as big spinning coins} shoot them to earn extra cash to spend on upgrades and moves.
Get out of my way, Ninja! April 2, 2010 Falk Sturmfels 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
There are a lot complainments about empty Levels and repetitive gameplay - I tell you what: I liked it. The wind blows sand through the streets, and with the sometimes melodramatic music Red Steel 2 creates a very strange atmosphere. When it comes to the sword-swinging conflicts, Red Steel 2 shows you its strengths. Theres no need for blood and splatter - its still raw enough. When you finish your enemies with the Guns, the nameless Kusagari grabs the head of his opponent and shoots him right into his face. Brutal enough?
Everybody who is buying this game should probably start on the hardest gamemode - then its a good challenge. The other two modes are to easy.
And don't forget to use your guns. They are really helpful.

This is what the Wii is all about. The controls are amazing with Wii Motion Plus. This really shows the future of the Wii in terms of how good the controls can be. Exciting game play during battles with LOADS of moves to remember.
High production values from the start (literally the start is high octane stuff). The only negative point is that between missions you literally are just looking for the next one. But this is a very minor point as you can always jump straight into the next one if you wish. For the next title Ubisoft may want to give the player other things to do between mission. Other than that this is right on the money.
Highly recommended and as always if you want to see more of this type of product on the Wii then purchase this now.
Manga for Wii August 2, 2010 Tomas Good game, nice graphic and much fun (in my mind).
One thing that can be really annoying is the long loading times between scenes and there are a lot of them...
Train on your swording skills and shot when needed. Can only recommend it. You will use your MotionPlus in a good way in this game.
Great value, great game! July 15, 2010 Mrs. Samantha Rushe (Monaghan, Ireland) This game is excellent value as you get the WII motion plus with it, so it's a real bargain.
Really good fun & quite challenging to play.
